Who we are

MYMAiGUARD Smart Security Limited (MYMAiGUARD) provides smart security products, installation, and support, based in Suite 510, 5th Floor Edo House, Ralph Shodeinde Street, CBD - FCT, Abuja, Nigeria. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Accounts, on the website and the app

When you register, your account is created once and used both on this website and in the MYMAiGUARD app — they read the same customer record, so your orders, devices, and support history are the same on either one. Signing in only proves who you are; it does not require a password to check out as a guest.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly when you request a quote, book a site survey, place an order, register a warranty, or contact support — typically your name, phone number, email address, property or delivery address, and the details of your enquiry. When you place an order, payment is handled on Paystack's own secure page; we do not receive or store your full card details.

If you have MYMAiGUARD smart devices, we read device and connection status (for example whether a camera or lock is online) through our device provider, Tuya, so we can show it to you and to our support team. When you open a camera's live view, the video stream plays through a short-lived link from Tuya directly to your browser — we do not record, store, or log that video on our own systems.

We also collect limited technical and usage data (such as pages visited and device information) through analytics to improve the site.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, schedule surveys and installations, process and deliver orders, provide support and warranty service, and keep you updated about your request. We may contact you by phone, WhatsApp, email, or SMS in connection with a service you asked for.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as needed to deliver the service:

• Supabase: Hosts our database: customer accounts, orders, quotes, and support tickets, for both the website and the MYMAiGUARD app.
• Resend: Sends order, quote and account emails.
• Paystack: Processes card and bank payments on its own secure page. We never receive or store your full card details.
• Tuya: Runs the cloud connection for your smart devices, including device status and live-view links. We do not record or store your live camera video on our own systems.
• Cloudflare: Runs and protects the website (hosting, and checks that block automated abuse).
• Google (Tag Manager and Analytics): Only loaded if you accept analytics cookies. Helps us see which pages and products are used; not used for advertising.

Some of the service providers above may process information outside Nigeria. Where that happens, we require them to protect it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

Cookies and browser storage

Some storage is needed for the site to work: a sign-in cookie for your customer account, and your basket, saved items, and recently viewed products, kept in your own browser. The table below lists every cookie and browser-storage item this website uses.

Analytics cookies are optional. If analytics are switched on, you'll be asked first, and you can change your choice with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Only if you accept do we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages and products people view and whether they reach checkout. If you reject them, those tools are not loaded. We don't use analytics for advertising, and we don't send your name, contact details, form answers, or private document links to it.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law, then remove or anonymise it.

Children

Our services are for adults arranging security for a home or business. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If something goes wrong

If a breach puts your personal information at risk, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act.

Your rights

Consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA), You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. We respond to requests as soon as we reasonably can. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
